Iguaçu Falls, Brazil

So I’m a sucker for nature at its best and Iguaçu falls is just that.

From the packed bus to the National Park from Foz do Iguaçu followed by another down to the trailhead, the anticipation builds continually.

Then you step out through a gap in the jungle, back into the sweltering heat and you see this:

It’s absolutely incredible and no number of photos can do it justice.

We hopped off a long distance bus straight from São Paulo and charged straight into the park leaving our bags in the enormous lockers provided.

After we were finished for the price of 10 reals each we hopped on a bus which took us across into Argentina, getting us stamped out of Brazil while waiting for us at the Argentinian border. It was so smooth it almost made me nervous!

Anyway, onwards to Argentina! Land of steaks, gauchos, and Yerba mate!
