My bucket list

So, I made my first attempt on a Bucket List. You’ll find it in the menus of this site. This is a call out to everyone who has done these things: have I made the right choices? Am I missing something really obvious?

Are there any lesser known places I should have heard of by now?? Let me know.

  1. Great list. I’m thinking of stealing a few of your ideas. I can only comment on no.31 Descend into the Serengeti. Do it. Being on the massive open plans of the Serengeti is incredible. You should go when you can witness the gnu migration, Oct-Mar, and you should camp. The hotels in Serengeti are typically expensive and not worth the cost. Camping is more fun 🙂
Add Ngorongoro to the trip, You have to pass through the area to get to the Serngeti anyways.
For something different, Climb Oldoinyo Lengai ‘The Mountain of God’ in the middle of the night to watch the sunrise. This is an active Volcano 😀

    1. Hey, thanks, those are some great calls to add in to that trip, it’ll be a biggie. I’ve always wanted to see an active volcano at work (more active than the very quiet ones we have here in New Zealand!).

      1. No worries, I’m hoping to climb Oldoinyo Lengai eventually.
When you’re looking into a trip to Tanzania you should get in contact with me. I’ve just started a blog about Tanzania, ‘Tanzania On My Mind’ and I have a safari company. I’d be happy to help you with that Bucket List and suggest so other stuff 🙂

      2. Thanks, we’ll give you a shout when we get our Africa trip together! And I’ll definitely have a look at the blog, some of those photography posts look really handy.
